Newspaper Coverage — Thalassemia Day Awareness Walk

Daily Pakistan (Lahore edition) reported on the awareness walk organized by Peace Welfare Organization in connection with World Thalassemia Day. The walk was conducted from M.A. Chowk to District Headquarters Hospital. Citizens, women, children, traders' leaders, the General Secretary, Chairman Muhammad Salman Baig, Founder Muhammad Nauman Baig, Khubaib Asghar, Ali Asghar Durrani and many others participated. Participants chanted slogans of "Thalassemia Free Pakistan" and carried placards spreading awareness about the hereditary disease.
